Crest strains one step, then prints the certificate.
Each ladder has a serial number. Choose the ladder type and the step under test. Crest already knows the proof load for that step, drives the rig up to that limit, and keeps the record for the printed certificate.
Step and limit
Pick the rung or platform. The preset limit is the load Crest will strain to, and for how long.
Strain and hold
The rig pulls until the hanging scale reaches that limit, then holds. Photographs attach to the test.
Certificate
A passed test gets a PDF certificate with the serial, the step, the load, and the photographs.
